Welcome to Bodytrains
Bodytrains was formed by Liz Robertson in 2011. Liz also known as Pip is a New Zealand trained, Quebec Registered Massage Therapist and fitness educator whose sports, anatomy and body alignment education offers an unique and holistic approach to both training and muscoskeletal issues in the Outaouais area. Her passion for understanding body movements has seen her take courses with Kit Laughlin in Stretch Therapy, (Australia), laban Movement teacher, Carrie Owerko, Iyengar Instructors, Zubin Zarthostimanesh, Gulnaaz Dashi (India) and continuing fitness education in human kinetics as well as being both a Kettlebell and Kickboxing Instructor.
As a myofacial release practitioner Liz follows the work of Tom Myers of Anatomy Trains. The Bodytrains name was formed from her interests of myofascial "trains" work and study of exercise and yoga with connection with mind, body and breath.
Her sporting career has included body sculpting, adventure sport racing, single speed and xc mountain bike racing in her homeland of New Zealand. She now likes to enjoy a less competitive scene and helps others train to their potential. In her spare time she practices Iyengar Yoga and dabbles in pottery.

Our four legged assistants
The terrible two-some, Nori Puddykat and Bodhi Both masters of stretching especially down facing dog and cat pose. Bodhi is full of energy and will greet you with his barking. (He is very friendly). Nori although shy is not afraid to assist with anything that involves assuming a lying position. |
